My father Stephen was cared for at the Mercy Hospice, and without their amazing care, help, and assistance I don't know what we would have done.
  The Mercy Hospice relies on public donation.

It's based on an illo from Ronald Searle's 'Nigel Molesworth' books, my Dad's favourite when he was ten. He gave me the book to read when I was little...and it became my favourite too.

A Tank Girl / Star Wars mash up piece I'm doing for someone while I'm visiting NZ.
Been quite fun, as I also found some old Star Wars figures too!

Many many thanks to Arafaat and Ben the organisers of the Con, all the amazing volunteers (Wael particularly!!!), guests and fans....what an amzing show. Huge energy, and surprising big (but hey...it's DUBAI right?...everything is biiiiiig!!!)

I got to hang out with my ol' buddy Jock ( he of Batman, Losers, Dredd fame...and nicest man in Comics) and the legend that is James O'Barr (the Crow)... fuck he was great... we talked about bands, running people over in cars and who to kill first...what a guy.

I got to meet and annoy Mr.Warwick Davis (Willow, star wars etc), Sean Astin (LOTR, Goonies) , Alan Tudyk (Firefly) and Ioan Gruffudd (Fantastic Four,Lancelot) and Max Landis (writer of CHRONICLE)! All great guys! Really enjoyed their company!

Big thanks to Wael for taking us out and showing us around...such a lovely chap and so bloody funny...
