QuiQuiriQui Mezcal
On Friday, I set myself a little challenge of doing a quick painting. I'd been ill all week, so was going a bit crazy, and thought some art therapy might help.
Decided to do a quick
Tankie painting, so I could exhibit it at
Treviso Comic Con, in Italy at the end of the month.
Started off with a quick pencil sketch....
and then got a big fat fucked up marker and badly/quickly inked it.
I then did a super quick 30 second sepia tone wash on it.... let it it dry...
Then attacked it with Acrylic paint... half the time with my cat Ripley helpfully on my lap...
In all, I think it was 5 1/2 hours from picking up a pencil, to finishing, and spilling my coffee.
