Let's get STEVE ANDREWS home.

Steve Andrews, front and centre, with Vas Deferens!

A little over a week ago my good friend Steve Andrews was senselessly murdered while out with his partner celebrating her birthday, in Putney, West London.

We're now raising money to help bring Steve's body back to his parents in NZ.
You can donate money via PAYPAL to

Or you can buy a ticket to his memorial show...either an ATTENDING or NON ATTENDING ticket. All the money goes to help Steve's family.

There's also a FACEBOOK GROUP which I'd urge you all to join, and again, donate via Paypal, the gug site, or the bank account on the FB page.

Steve deserves our help. He was a great guy... funny, generous, an amazing raconteur, and a wonderful frontsman in his band VAS DEFERENS and FLESH D-VICE.

Let's show some real punk spirit, and get our friend home... to his friends and family, and some well earned peace.

Thanks my friends,

View from the top!

Muddy way up...

The new Hillary...atop of mud pile...

Well today I decided to do something different in Auckland..... so I climbed over a chainlink fence, and climbed a was fun, muddy, and bloody slippery... but it was a great view...

It also gave me some great reference for when I got back to draw! Then Catpig, my brother's cat, sat on my art and pencils and brought proceedings to a close...
Guess that's her way of saying to call it a night!

Going down!!!

I can see for miles....

Rough art for SOLID GOLD DEATH MASK which is slowly taking shape again...

This year has been full of car crashes, family tragedies and odd life events... but through it all, my close friends and family have stood together, helped each other, and shown me how lucky I am.

I'm happy that we'll have stuff to show in the new year... and some new games afoot too!

Back to Scribbling!!!

Just to prove I'm managing to get a little work done here in NZ, while visiting My Dad (who's unfortunately ill)... some more thumbnails for SOLID GOLD DEATH MASK.

Had a lot to do in between hospital visits and stuff, so work has been sporadic, and it's been tough to stay focussed.

We've been really lucky though... our family have all rallied together, and be so supportive. <3 p="p">It's also given me the opportunity to find all my art from the fanzines and punk posters I did when I was a kid... so when I get home, I'm going to scan them and try and put a book together with my old Zine mates as a collection.

In Auckland Museum of Art

I've managed to get out to Auckland art gallery, and loved the inflatable ceiling flowers, the zoo, where I walked around looking like a member of Al Queda, as I hid from the sun...

Rocking out at Auckland Zoo... Al Queda style.

and finally on Friday I managed to have drinks with my buddies Dylan Horrocks, Chris Slane, Ben Stenbeck, Ant Sang, and Lars Cawley! It was so great to see all these talented lovely guys again. I'm fucking lucky to have such great friends.

I'd best get scribbling!
